ELLERSLIE TRAINING

For those of you who have not yet seen our new Ellerslie website, we have recently revamped the entire site and added some exciting additions.  We are now offering both a 10-week summer training program and a 10-week fall training program at our Ellerslie campus in Windsor, Colorado!  Eric and I are thrilled to have the opportunity to personally invest into the lives of students from around the world – and help equip them for the calling God has upon their future.

Ellerslie Training specializes in taking students deeper with God and providing an atmosphere in which a love for the Word of God, prayer and Biblical study can be cultivated.  We are more of a spiritual-training retreat than a classical school environment.  But though our primary goal is to help students go deeper with Christ, we are also very purposeful about giving students a strong Scriptural understanding and Biblical framework as they walk through this deepening process.

There are six major themes that we seek to develop in the hearts and minds of our students through the 10-week program:

1. 1. A passionate love for the Word of God
   

2. 2.A clear and intimate understanding of the Gospel life
   

3. 3.The cultivation of a vibrant prayer life
   

4. 4.An establishment of healthy, life-long spiritual behavior patterns
   

5. 5. An intercessor’s mentality – being made strong in order to be poured out for the weak

2010 WEEKEND DISCIPLESHIP CONFERENCE

We have just announced the dates for this year’s annual Weekend Discipleship Conference:  September 10-12, 2010 at our Ellerslie Campus in Windsor, Colorado.  If you were moved by Eric’s Mighty Intercessor video (mentioned above), you will absolutely love this weekend discipleship conference – it’s three powerful, life-changing days of spiritual fire for your soul.  This conference is open to both guys and girls, and all ages are welcome.

A RETROSPECT by Hudson Taylor

This old, dusty, out-of-print book is great fuel for the struggling believer’s soul!  It is filled with incredible stories of answered prayer, God’s faithfulness, and perseverance in the midst of trials.  If you can get your hands on a copy, this book would make an excellent addition to your daily quiet times and can go a long way in building your faith!

I’ve mentioned this website previously, but it’s worth bringing up again!  Anita Couch has an excellent ministry for young women struggling with self-worth issues and eating disorders, and she has recently expanded and update her website.  A wonderful resource for anyone struggling in these areas, or ministering to those who are struggling!
